The System 5 digital console is specifically configured with motion
picture mixing in mind and is available in single or multi-operator configurations.
Euphonix has worked closely with major film mixing studios such as Pinewood-Shepperton,
Park Road Post and Todd A-O to create an uncompromised digital audio
system that's easy to learn and designed
for fast access
to film-specific mix controls. The system can be fitted with a film style
monitoring panel including pec-direct switched and joysticks.

System 5 - HDTV Surround Audio Post
The System 5 is perfectly suited for single-operator mixing audio for HDTV and
HD music. Integrated transport control for both audio and video machines and
a remarkable mix-automation system make the System 5 the perfect audio centerpiece.
Producers feel at home in front of the built-in 16:9 TFT video display monitor.
Surround sound is an integral part of the design. The system can be fitted
with a film style monitoring panel including pec-direct switched and joysticks.
System 5 - Music Mixing
System 5 is the system of choice for many music mixers such as Frank
Filipetti, and music scoring mixers such as Alan Meyerson. Sydney
Opera House chose a System 5 for their main music recording studio
which is fed from the Opera Theater and Concert Hall. System 5
is perfect for surround projects thanks to its film mix surround
features and the new DSP SuperCore can handle high sample rates.
The Euphonix range of converters are sonically excellent making
this the perfect choice for critical music mixing projects.
System 5 - EuCon Hybrid Option
EuCon Hybrid allows any existing System 5 music
or post console to connect to external DAWs for integrated control
of tracks on the System 5 channel strips.
The new EuCon Hybrid option for System 5, which now also includes
Mac OSX compatibility, extends the control capa-bilities of the console
beyond the dedicated DSP Cores to the outside world, bringing Digital
Audio Workstation (DAW) tracks onto the console surface for mixing.
The DAWs communicate with the console via the EuCon high-speed Ethernet
control protocol. No other control system or console comes close
to the power and total integration of Euphonix control surfaces with
EuCon.
