Steinberg were one of the first companies to support the EuCon high-speed Ethernet control protocol. As a result Steinberg's Nuendo audio post production DAW deeply integrates with all Avid-Euphonix post controllers and consoles, from the Artist Series though to the System 5-MC and System 5 dual-operator film mixing consoles. Nuendo 5 now takes this to the next level. Nuendo supports any ASIO or Core Audio compliant I/O including MADI I/O via PCI cards which allows hundreds of audio tracks to cost-effectively connect the Nuendo DAW to the System 5 and S5 Fusion, DSP based consoles. And Nuendo can also integrate alongside Pro Tools systems due to EuCon's ability to instantly switch control to different applications which is an essential requirement in many film dubbing applications.

• Preprogrammed SmartSwitches (System 5-MC & MC Pro) and System 5 panel keys provide instant access to most top-level Nuendo functions
• Soft Key Editor lets you create custom Soft Keys for any additional Nuendo function or macro commands
