The award winning Artist Series controllers make their first
appearance at a European AES show. Initially launched at
the beginning of 2008, the MC Mix started shipping in February
and was followed by the MC Control at the end of April. The
Artist Series won the prestigious red dot award for outstanding
and innovative design, as well as the MIPA award at the Frankfurt
Musikmesse for “Best Recording Hardware of 2008.”
The slim-line and stylish MC Control and MC Mix easily integrate
into any studio, fitting perfectly between a computer keyboard
and screen, and up to four MC Mix controllers and one MC
Control can be clipped together in a modular fashion to create
larger, integrated mixing solutions.
The MC Mix and MC Control provide high-speed creative control
of audio and video applications via EuCon™, a
high-speed control protocol developed by Euphonix that enables
simultaneous control of multiple applications and even workstations
over an Ethernet cable. EuCon automatically detects whatever
application is in the foreground and instantly sets the high-resolution
touchscreen and OLED displays, motorized faders and arsenal
of controls to match. Logic Pro, Cubase, Nuendo and others
directly support the EuCon protocol for the ultimate in control
integration, but the Artist Series can also control any application
that supports HUI or Mackie Control protocols, such as Pro
Tools or Final Cut Pro, for ultimate flexibility. |
