|
At the 124th AES European Pro Audio Expo and Convention
in Amsterdam, Euphonix, world leader in large-format
mixing consoles and control surfaces, will be featuring solutions
for Music and Audio Post-Production all driven by the innovative
EuCon control protocol that allows all Euphonix consoles
and controllers to connect over high-speed Ethernet to media
software applications. Apple’s Logic Pro, Steinberg’s
Nuendo and Cubase, Merging’s Pyramix and Cakewalk’s
SONAR all directly support EuCon.
Euphonix is introducing a new DF70 DSP SuperCore for the
System 5 range of music and post consoles that can handle
up to 400 channels at 48KHz (200 at 98KHz) together with
a an integrated 2048 x 2048 signal matrix in 4RU
of rack space.
On display will be a System 5-MC integrated DAW Controller
and an MC Pro controller. Marketed to workstation centric
music and audio post-production clients, the MC line is ideal
for those who want a cost-effective, professional workstation
surface with the tactile control and visual feedback of a
high-end mixing console.
Euphonix will also be exhibiting the S5 Fusion digital audio
mixing system, specifically aimed at the HDTV audio post
market. S5 Fusion is a scaleable digital audio mixing
system that combines the power and flexibility of DSP channel
with serious DAW control via the EuCon protocol.
The new Euphonix Fiber Stagebox Solution for broadcast and
live venue music applications that was launched at NAB will
make its first showing in Europe. This modular, remote, high-density
Stagebox, capable of up to 56 mic preamps each, features
redundant fiber audio connectivity and control. This new
solution connects multiple high-density stage boxes into
the Euphonix DSP SuperCore via MADI over fiber with control
directly from the console’s channel strips.

Speed up and enhance video editing! The new Artist
Series MC Control provides high speed Ethernet
control via the EuCon protocol to video edit applications
such as Final Cut Pro.

This is also the first time that the new Euphonix Artist
Series has been shown at a European AES. Comprised of an
MC Mix and a MC Control unit, the Artist Series brings the
unparalleled speed, resolution and control of Euphonix' high-end
professional consoles to software based audio and video applications
on the Mac OSX platform to the personal studio.
