Euphonix, a world leader in large-format mixing consoles
and control surfaces, celebrates its 20th anniversary this

in 1988, Euphonix has evolved into a global presence in the
pro audio industry. This year marks another significant milestone
for the company as Euphonix will be introducing its first
products for the personal studio market at the 2008 Winter
NAMM Show later this month.
“Twenty years ago, Euphonix was simply a dream for
a handful of visionaries, and today that dream has been realized.
We are proud to be at the forefront of console technology,
providing innovative, high-tech solutions to audio mixing.
Now, we are looking forward to our next 20 years with anticipation
and optimism,” said Euphonix CEO Martin Kloiber.

Named for a combination of the words “euphony” (meaning
a pleasant or sweet sound) and “mix,” Euphonix
debuted its first digitally controlled analog console, the
Crescendo, at the 1990 AES show in Los Angeles. Nine short
years later, Euphonix revolutionized the audio industry with
its introduction of the world's first 24/96K large-format
digital console, the Euphonix System 5, at the 1999 AES show
in New York. Today, Euphonix designs and sells a complete
array of digital products for film, broadcast, music and
post-production.
In the past two decades, Euphonix has established sales
and service offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and
Tokyo, as well as a large distribution network around the
world. Moreover Euphonix has sold hundreds of consoles, controllers,
converters and DAWs in more than 25 countries, and high-profile
clients in the entertainment industry include CNN, Sydney
Opera House, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Pinewood Studios,
NHK, Lakewood Church, and many more.
