You can access up to two workstations simultaneously with the Artist Series controllers - a primary workstation running the EuControl software plus one more workstation. You can choose this second workstation from any Mac OS X workstation on your network provided it has the MC Client application installed. Click here for more details.
The MC Pro can connect to multiple workstations individually.
Euphonix Artist Series control surfaces work on Mac OS X 10.4 or later. The MC Pro supports control of media production applications on Mac and PC platforms.
Click on the EuControl settings drop down menu and check your preferences in the General pane. Make sure you have checked "Open plug-ins on workstation when editing," and "Close plug-ins on workstation when exiting."
Currently, soft synth parameters may be edited on knobs and flipped to faders in Logic Pro. Editing of soft synths in other applications is not currently implemented.
Artist Series control surfaces are plug-and-play and connect via ethernet to your Mac OS X computer or router. The MC Mix and MC Control are both standalone controllers, and can be used individually or integrated with additional units to suit the needs of your workflow.
Euphonix Artist Series control surfaces ship with an ethernet crossover cable to connect directly to your Macintosh computer or local area network. If your Macintosh computer is pre 2002, you must connect using a crossover ethernet cable. Post 2002 Macs can connect using either a normal or crossover Ethernet cable. Refer to your User Guide page 17 for more information.
