Euphonix has been manufacturing digital controllers for the last 21 years and has developed a deep understanding of the ergonomic needs of creative individuals working with media applications. Euphonix audio consoles have long been the choice of the world's top film sound mixers, including six of the last eight Sound Mixing Oscar® winners, and Euphonix Artist Series media controllers bring the unparalleled speed, resolution and integration of these high-end professional consoles to the world of Final Cut Studio.
Apple has natively integrated Euphonix' EuCon Ethernet control protocol into the new Final Cut Studio, providing Artist Series users with integrated, hands-on control over Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Color and other applications. All Euphonix consoles and controllers feature EuCon, a high-speed control protocol developed by Euphonix in conjunction with the world's leading software developers that provides high-resolution, high-speed control over software video edit solutions like Final Cut Studio, to greatly speed up and enhance the video editing process.
Build Your Own Video Edit Console
With three different Artist Series controllers to choose from you can select the right combination of controllers for the way you work with video or film...
MC Mix, with its 8 faders and knobs, allows you to quickly adjust audio levels and pans in Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro, offering simultaneous, high-resolution control over multiple audio tracks that would be impossible to achieve with a mouse. MC Mix has become an indispensible tool for many of the world's premier Final Cut editors, and brings a host of professional features previously only available in high-end consoles to your desktop in a sleek, compact design. [more]
MC Control, like MC Mix, provides you with faders and knobs to control audio levels and pans, but also features a touch-screen that lets you trigger keystroke commands and macros directly from the surface. Although MC Control ships with a comprehensive set of soft keys for both Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro, you can program this touch-screen to suit your particular way of working. From quick keys to complex macros that perform a series of functions, editing with Final Cut Pro often involves repetitive tasks that can be assigned to the programmable touch-screen soft keys to speed up your workflow. Furthermore, MC Control's jog/shuttle wheel and transport controls provide hands-on navigation and editing of your project. [more]
MC Transport provides you with an ultra-high resolution jog wheel, spring-loaded shuttle ring and a host of transport controls and soft keys, making one-handed navigation and editing of your project a breeze. MC Transport can be used on its own or with any combination of MC Control and MC Mix units. [more]
MC Color is a color grading control surface that offers a host of trackballs, trackwheels, encoders and more to provide colorists with interactive, hands-on control of Apple's Color 1.5. MC Color can be used either standalone or connected to other Artist Series media controllers to build a larger, integrated video editing control surface. [more]
Users of older versions of Final Cut Studio can also use Artist Series controllers, as EuCon also sends the Mackie Control protocol supported by earlier versions of Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro and other applications via high-speed, high-resolution Ethernet for a tightly integrated editing experience.
