MC Mix brings the unparalleled audio mixing speed, resolution and DAW integration of Euphonix's high-end professional consoles to the personal studio. Application Support

Cubase

The MC Mix is a powerful control surface that offers an incredible amount of control over almost any DAW, but delivers unmatched control and integration with Cubase, as Steinberg has natively integrated Euphonix' EuCon control protocol directly into Cubase. Simply install the EuControl software which includes the Steinberg EuCon adapter, authorize the installed EuCon adapter via the Steinberg website, attach your MC Mix and you're ready to go. Here are some of the unique features that the MC Mix brings to Cubase:

  • Hi-resolution faders and rotary encoders
  • Instantiate and edit plug-ins, EQ's, dynamics, busses, groups, inputs and mix destinations directly from the surface
  • Flip any editable parameters from the rotary encoders to the faders
  • Lock any MC Mix fader to any track in Cubase via the Direct Assign feature
  • Create and save up to 48 different fader configurations as Layouts that save with your project file
  • Toggle automation modes for each channel from the MC Mix
  • Toggle between the Cubase Mix and Arrange windows from the MC Mix

Digital Performer

EuCon has been natively integrated into MOTU's Digital Performer 6, giving MC Mix unmatched control over DP6. Simply install the EuControl software which includes the MOTU EuCon adapter, choose the EuCon driver from the Control Surface Setup and you're ready to go. Unique features that MC Mix brings to Digital Performer include:

  • Hi-resolution faders and rotary encoders
  • Edit plug-ins, EQ's, dynamics, inputs, aux sends and mix destinations directly from the surface

Apple has integrated Euphonix' EuCon control protocol directly into the new Final Cut Studio, offering high-speed, high-resolution control over Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro. MC Mix allows you to quickly navigate, solo, mute, pan and adjust your project's audio tracks, with clear metering and info displays.

Users of older versions of Final Cut Studio can also use Artist Series controllers, as EuCon also sends the Mackie Control protocol supported by earlier versions of Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro and other applications via high-speed, high-resolution Ethernet for a tightly integrated editing experience.
