The MC Control, MC Mix and MC Transport work on their own independently with Ethernet connection to the host Mac OS X computer. However put them together and open up a whole new world of control.

It’s a Snap
Building a powerful editing and mixing system has never been easier. MC Control, MC Mix and MC Transport units snap together and are designed to fit between keyboard and screen. Because each unit has its own Ethernet connection the units may be snapped side-by-side or placed anywhere – yes anywhere!

MC Control and MC Mix Consoles
Build your own recording, editing and mixing system with any combination of MC Control and MC Mix.

Up to 4 MC Mix units
(8, 16, 24 or 32 faders)
More faders for easier and faster access to more tracks.

MC Control + MC Mix + MC Transport
(12, 20, 28 or 36 faders)
MC Control adds four faders and a host of control features to the MC Mix, including the ability to layout any combination of tracks onto the faders and save these as named layouts for easy recall (e.g. all drums and bass tracks together). This makes working with hundreds of tracks much simpler and is much more intuitive than banking faders.

If you already have an MC Control, then adding fader modules turns your MC Control into a fully fledged professional desktop mixing system…

Because of individual Ethernet connections you can lay out the modules to suit your mixing environment - position MC Transport anywhere in the console for optimum control over your project's motion.

Custom Consoles
Artist Series can be fitted into custom consoles for the ultimate in integrated worksurfaces. The KK Audio A1 workstation desk above with 8RUs is available from Sweetwater in the US. The one shown on the right has 15RUs of rack space and can hold up to one MC Control and three MC Mix units. It is manufactured by Malone Design Works and sold through Sweetwater in the US. The workstation table below is manufactured by AKA Design in the UK and is shown with the complete Artist product range including 20 faders and the new MC Transport.

Artist Video Edit Systems
The MC Control, MC Mix and MC Transport can also speed up and enhance video eding with Final Cut Pro. For those that edit projects with a lot of audio tracks, multiple MC Mix modules can make a big difference. And the MC Control soft keys can help speed up repetative tasks. MC Transport is perfect for quickly and accurately moving around within the video timeline. The system below is shown with dual Apple Cinema Displays and the Apogee Duet audio interface.
